DUNN'S RIVER FALLS ST. ANNS JAMAICA

Dunn's River Falls is a famous waterfall near Ocho RiosJamaica and a major Caribbean tourist attraction that attracts thousands of visitors each year..
About 1,000 feet (300 m) high, the waterfalls are terraced like giant stair steps. Several small lagoons are interspersed among the vertical sections of the falls.
Climbing up the waterfalls is a popular tourist activity and is often, but not exclusively, performed with the help of tour guides from the park. The falls are bordered by lush, green vegetation that shades the area from the sun. This helps keep the area cool as people try to climb the waterfall. The falls can be hiked with relative ease, often in a hand-holding human chain behind the guide.

Dunn's River Falls and Beach is Jamaica's most famous visitor attraction. This attraction attracts thousands of visitor each year from around the world.
Many visitors climb the waterfalls from the beach right to the top, stopping on the way to enjoy the cool plunge pools formed naturally in the river rocks and the waterfalls which are gentle in some places and positively thunder in others. When you get to the top, you will feel refreshed and invigorated.
Photographed millions of times, Dunn's River was prominently featured in the very first James Bond film, "Dr. No." Countless other film crews have followed the lead.

You may also make your visit a shopping excursion, as there is a large craft market with a great selection of locally produced items. What are you waiting for?
